Love for Love:

Last night's Hole gig was amazing seriously the only complaint I had about last night was that there wasn't enough time for two encores. Truly I think everyone expected Courtney to be a hot mess but the set was together, beautiful, raw and emotive. Whether it's nostalgia for my youth being stood in a crowd shouting lyrics to Doll parts was pretty epic and amazing.

So when I'm not procrastinating by putting stuff up on here I am generally involved in trying to do as many creative projects as possible .This is a collaboration with my friends Joe Nigoghossian and Luke Newman super talented designer and photographer. So I know Zooey Deschanel is pretty much the ultimate indie poster girl, but I still think this is beautiful. So nice to see designers using live music at their shows too. The theatre and sense of narrative in fashion has always been something I love and this is a beautiful way to create ambiance and add to the sense of performance

I like this, I wish I could have great underwater pics of me like this too- it's very tricky most people screw their faces up underwater. Or have a constant panicked look from fear of drowning, but small children have no fear so they take wicked underwater pics. Oh and credit where its due pics are by Elena Kalis.

It's a sad day but I knew I would eventually have to post something less positive, here we go...

Dear Warner Brothers and Uk cinema distribution people,

Are you trying to ruin my life? Come on! Having thought I only had to wait 18 days to see "Where the Wild Things are" I know discover that I have 74 days to wait to see it. I eagerly read
www.weloveyouso.com and watch the trailers you so temptingly place on youtube only to have my hopes dashed. It's really not on, even France are getting it on the 14th October and the Swede's only have to wait until 27th November.

I suggest you move it forward maybe to 12th October by way of apology to me and everyone else with taste or i'll be forced to take the eurostar and send you the bill for my ticket and translator.

These pictures by Jan Von-Holleben are amazing. From his "Dreams of Flying" series he has created fake flight pictures in a beautifully raw and lo-fi way.
